Shawn Chrystopher hit me up a few moments ago with the video Kanye was referring to in his latest blog post regarding the unexpected drop of 'Welcome To Heartbreak'.
Chairlift's 'Evident Utensil' seems to use the exact same effects as Kanye's.
That video was posted on YouTube about 2 weeks ago, so i'm assuming both sides had the same idea around the same time, but Chairlift beat Kanye to the punch.
