I bring that real authentic music back. I’ve been feeling like the music has been watered down for like the last couple years. I don’t think people were coming from the heart with their music. It became a lot of gimmicks.

illRoots.com: Alright straight forward and to the point. As far as music wise what are your assets to Hip-Hop?

Mu Dills: I bring that real authentic music back. I’ve been feeling like the music has been watered down for like the last couple years. I don’t think people were coming from the heart with their music. It became a lot of gimmicks. So I definitely think that I am bringing something new. I have a good sound, one that people haven’t heard before. I am very talented, I don’t just take a sample, I make all my music on the spot and get it done.
illRoots.com: So your just a writer or a producer too?
Mu Dills: I work with a lot of producers mainly in-house production outside of that I’ve worked with Soul Diggaz and Monee Green does a lot of production for me.
illRoots.com: As far as the marketing scheme for your album how do you feel ,with declining CD sales, that you are going to make an impact that we haven’t seen before?
Mu Dills: Like I said before I’m something new. Everybody is looking for something new. “Something New” can never stay new forever so everybody is looking for that next thing coming out. Now its changing and going back to good music now. So if I’m confident that I’m making good music then I’m confident to know that people will buy good music. People are going to pay for things that are worth spending money on.
