The Aerospace company Lockheed Martin issued a report revealing their plans to get to Mars by 2028. Lockheed Martin wants to build a space station, called Mars Base Camp, to orbit the planet for a year. The space station would feature reusable landers that could transport the crew to the surface, called Mars Ascent/Descent Vehicles. They join SpaceX's Elon Musk, who also has a goal of humans getting to Mars in the near future.
