Following her historic Emmys win this year, Lena Waithe has created her own show. The Chi is a drama series about the south side of Chicago, and was written by Lena Waithe and co-produced by her and Common. This new show will air on Showtime on January 7th, 2018, and you can view the teaser trailer above.
