Khalid’s ‘American Teen’ Album Goes Platinum

It has just been announced that 19 year old rapper/ singer and RCA Records' signee Khalid's debut alum American Teen has just gone platinum. The record, which released March 3rd, 2017, only took just over 6 months to reach this massive milestone. Khalid took to Instagram to celebrate his achievement, read what he said below.

Earlier this year, I told myself that March 3rd was going to be the day that changed my life forever. 7 months later, American Teen is Platinum. Thank you guys so much for EVERYTHING! I love you guys! A debut album with NO features. LETS GOOOO 🕺🏾🎉
