As most of you know Terry Urban was going to drop an extremely dope project entitled SouthernGold. It was this very project that would mash-up the greatness that is Santigold with some very dope southern artists. In most cases you would think Downtown Records and Santigold's people would applaud graciously but instead they decide to send a cease and desist. I could make a cavalcade of jokes and comparisons to the overall fuckery that ensues in hip-hop, in reference to the labels, but no amount of words can justify how much of an epic failure this is. I wish I had two more thumbs so that I could give this label 4 thumbs down [(c) Dave Chappelle].
